Eivissa

Eivissa is located on southeast coast of the island. It is also called for its inhabitants as Eivissa (the catalan translation of Ibiza) or also Vila ("Town").

It is divided into two parts: the old town called Dalt Vila ("Upper Town"), located on a mountain by the sea; and the more modern part which is called Eixample ("extension"). Also other villages in this area are Ses Figueretes, Talamanca and Platja d'en Bossa.

Ibiza town is the capital and the largest city on the island and really does have something for everyone. The buzzing nightlife is legendary, with world-class restaurants and a great selection of bars in the pretty Old Town and in trendy Marina Botafoch. Night and day this city weaves its magic with the sheer diversity of what's here and what you can do and see.
